Gary Thomas

Gary Thomas retired as a General after a 37 year career in the United States Marine Corps. His service culminated in his assignment as the Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps. During his distinguished career, he led service, joint, and multinational organizations both at sea and ashore across all aspects of defense, including full spectrum operations, program management, strategic planning, and resource management. As a member of the Joint Requirements Oversight Council, he collaborated closely with other senior leaders across the Department of Defense to identify key requirements and prioritize funding for the most important future capabilities for the defense of the United States and its allies. Thomas currently serves as the chairman of the board for the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and National Defense University.

James Hancock, MD

Dr. James Hancock retired as The Medical Officer of the Marine Corps after a forty-year career in the Navy. Dr. Hancock has led the Navy’s largest and most complex medical centers, ultimately serving as the Corps Chief for the whole of Navy medicine worldwide with more than 4300 physicians across all specialties serving in 19 medical centers, two hospital ships and over 30 Navy medical commands and ambulatory care clinics. He earned his Bachelor of Science in engineering in 1990 from the United States Naval Academy and his doctorate of medicine degree in 1995 from Uniform Services University of Health Sciences. His service included submarine duty as an enlisted nuclear electrician, surface warfare duty as a Commander Amphibious task force surgeon, aviation warfare as a flight surgeon in USMC F-18 community, and with Naval Special Warfare as trauma support for combat operations. Following combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, Hancock joined chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Michael Mullen’s Gray Team in 2009. The Gray Team was tasked to evaluate and advise the chairman on all facets of traumatic brain injury treatment and policy. Subsequently, he optimized battlefield treatment of traumatic brain injury during multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He is credited with developing multiple modern combat medical platforms. RDML Hancock holds patents in the development of medical devices that have helped to optimize trauma care on the battlefield.

He is board certified in Emergency medicine and family medicine.

Ryan Howard

Ryan Howard is the founder of Paradigm MedSolutionsRyan has spent more than a decade working in the health care industry. Howard started his career in medical device with Depuy Synthes Mitek Sports Medicine selling capital equipment, biologics, and sports medicine implants to large IDN’s, ASCs, and orthopedic surgeons.  He earned the “Rising Star Award” for his sales efforts in the Texas market. Ryan left the corporate world in 2016 and founded his first company, Paradigm MedSolutions. Paradigm has since grown to 50+ sales consultants nationally providing superior diagnostic testing services to independent physicians and their patients. Howard is a graduate of Oklahoma State University where he was a member of the 2011 Big 12 championship football team and All-Big 12 Academic team.

Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith has been Involved in the health care industry for over 17 years. He has served in several key roles including: owner, executive vice president, sales and marketing. Ryan is the previous owner of a highly complex clinical laboratory that serviced blood chemistry/hematology and LC/MS Toxicology. He also ran a durable medical equipment (DME) company that provided post-operative products to providers and their patients. He worked as the Dallas Territory Manager for Stryker Endoscopy for over 11 years where he sold multi-specialty video systems that were used in the operating room setting. Ryan was responsible for over $50 million sold during that time frame to large IDN’s, including Baylor Scott & White, UT Southwestern, Texas Health Resources, Health Care Affiliates, and Methodist Health System. He is a 2004 graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).  Ryan is a four-year football letterman and member of the leadership council.

Mike Kellerman

Mike Kellerman has been involved in the health care insurance industry for over 25 years. His HCSC award-winning health insurance agency employed 12 internal and 28 field agents throughout Texas and Oklahoma. Upon retirement from his agency in 2017, Kellerman partnered with Ryan Howard and developed Paradigm MedSolutions. Mike’s current role is to manage the administrative and operational components of our sales organization. Kellerman spent his early professional years in the USMC as an F/A-18 Hornet pilot and is currently a B-777 international pilot. Kellerman and Thomas attended Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) in April 1991.
